Hello - I am a proud wife and mother and teacher and ball player and quilter and scrap booker and some other stuff!! My husband, Craig Miller, is the principal of the Technical Careers High School for District No 93. My two kids keep me busy with all of the stuff they are involved in.
I love my job! I am a certified Physical Education, Health, and a Highly-qualified Mathematics teacher. I have taught all of these subjects, and now including Robotics. Robotics does involve a lot of math, therefore it is considered a math elective, therefore I can teach it.
This is my eighth year teaching. I taught Girls P.E. from 1999-2003. I then took off eight years to be home with my two little ones. In 2011 I received a phone call asking if I was interested in coming back. I taught 7th and 8th grade math that year. I was then asked to move over to Robotics and I am so glad I did!
